Our team of design experts have worked on thousands of examples of data visualisation in a variety of formats and for a diversity of media. We have collected a few examples we’d love to share with you and help inspire your data presentation:
When used correctly, data visualisation can be an effective way of reaching new audiences. Every chart or map you make can become a powerful tool in conveying an organisation’s dedication to positive change.
Infographic to show relationship between physical activity and life expectancy
Created by our talented team of graphic designers, each month we release a new impactful infographic that visualises a data set or information source that is relevant and notable to the sector.
This month, our infographic visualises the relationship between physical activity and life expectancy.
While there is an obvious link between physical activity and good health and well-being, the benefits are not prevalent in lower-income countries as a result of other more serious priorities negatively impacting health.
This prompted an article exploring an alternative discussion about physical activity in global development. It investigates how sport and physical activity are being integrated into education, vaccination and skills-building programmes in increasingly creative ways, with great success!

This month, Sustainable Development Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-Being: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages is the subject of our series investigating the potential of artificial intelligence for achieving the SDGs.
Good health and well-being is not only vital in itself, but underpins all our development. In the last five years, the world was reminded that when a health crisis strikes, progress on the other SDGs is threatened. In fact, health crises have long remained endemic across the Global South, a situation magnified by ongoing wars, mass displacement in dire unsanitary conditions, and the effects of climate change.
It should therefore be no surprise that much of the most urgent – and exciting – work in AI development is happening in the field of health. Ideas about how AI can be used to improve health and well-being are almost as old as research about AI itself.
