UNEP Emissions Gap Report 2023

A broken record

The UNEP Emissions Gap Report (EGR) series assesses the gap between projected global greenhouse gas emissions, the climate pledges and progress of countries, and the levels needed to avoid severe climate impacts. The report identifies key opportunities to bridge the emissions gap and provides a warning of the risks and threats each passing year brings.

Focusing on tone and clarity

Our role was to ensure the clarity and accessibility of the EGR through meticulous proofreading, editing and translation processes. It is essential that the report meets its scientifically insightful purpose and resonates with a broad audience.

We edited and translated 2023’s EGR into 5 languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish.

UNEP's most visible report

We have been trusted to provide editing and translation services for UNEP’s leading report since 2017. All our linguists are well-versed in United Nations terminology and as a standard for optimal quality, our linguists translate into their native language within a double-proof process.
