The dire economic reality and fragility of debt economy systems in many African countries, exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, has birthed a range of issues requiring immediate action.

We developed a short film to explore how plunging commodity prices, unsustainable debt and a projected loss of US$500 billion has diverted crucial funds away from urgent development priorities, healthcare and public services.
